چکیده

The novel cytokine IL-31 and its receptor have been shown to play a central role in bridging the immune system with neurons, epithelial surfaces connective tissues. Although increasing evidence has demonstrated their inflammation, involvement expansion of distinct leukocyte subsets is not fully understood. Detailed analyses Il31-transgenic (Eμ-Lck) mice indicated that next induction pruritus skin lesions, also presented enlarged lymph nodes increased B cell frequency. Therefore, we aimed at characterizing signaling biology. Using flow cytometry, frequency total cells specific was assessed peripheral bone marrow wild-type controls. Moreover, IL-31RA expression analyzed on human from blood healthy atopic dermatitis donors. We observed significantly CD19+ mice. showed higher plasmablasts nodes. In human, memory represented major population expressing within compartment. Furthermore, patients elevated IgE levels (>1000 kU/l) compared This particular interest since DOCK8 loss-of-function mutations lead an upstream regulation pathway expression. deficiency-related hyper-IgE syndrome presents as combined immunodeficiency serum severe Taken together, these findings point biology IgE-producing phenotype.

The roles of IL-2, IL-7, and IL15 Ligands in B Cells development

Abstract Background B cells play an important role in the immune system due to production of the immunoglobulin and secreting several cytokines. It has been shown that B cells produced successfully in the presence of stem cell factor (SCF) and Flt3 ligand (Flt3L). IL2, IL7, and IL15 cytokines as -common family have an essential cytokines may support either synergistically or in an additive m...

B cell IL-7. Human B cell lines constitutively secrete IL-7 and express IL-7 receptors.

IL-7 was originally reported as a cytokine produced by stromal cells which supports pre-B cell proliferation in vitro. To determine whether human B cells secrete IL-7 and express IL-7R we studied a wide panel of B cell lines (CLS). In Northern blot analysis we detected 2.4 kb IL-7 mRNA and by quantitative PCR we demonstrated IL-7 expression in 5 of 6 B CLS derived from patients with AIDS-associ...

IL-31 expression by inflammatory cells is preferentially elevated in atopic dermatitis.

Interleukin-31 (IL-31) is a recently discovered cytokine expressed in many human tissues, and predominantly by activated CD4(+) T cells. IL-31 signals through a heterodimeric receptor consisting of IL-31 receptor alpha (IL-31RA) and oncostatin M receptor beta (OSMR). Earlier studies have shown involvement of IL-31 and its receptor components IL-31RA and OSMR in atopic dermatitis, pruritus and T...

IL-31 receptor (IL-31RA) knockout mice exhibit elevated responsiveness to oncostatin M.

IL-31 signals through the heterodimeric receptor IL-31RA and oncostatin M receptor (OSMR), and has been linked with the development of atopic dermatitis, a Th2 cytokine-associated disease in humans. However, recent studies of IL-31RA knockout (KO) mice have suggested that IL-31 signaling may be required to negatively regulate Th2 type responses rather than exacerbate them. Because those studies...

Association of LL-37 and IL-31 serum levels with SCORing Atopic Dermatitis (SCORAD) score in atopic dermatitis patients

Background: Atopic dermatitis is a chronic, recurrent inflammation of the skin, accompanied by severe pruritus. Immune system dysregulation and skin barrier defects are associated with the abnormalities in atopic dermatitis. Myriad pieces of evidence have pointed to the major roles of LL-37 and interleukin-31 (IL31)in atopic dermatitis. The studies on atopic dermatitis are still limited i...
